Budget Toll

Budget Toll allows customers to take control of your long distance phone bill. Also known as pre-pay, Budget toll is more convenient than pre paid long distance cards.

Simply set a limit on how much you want to spend on long distance and the Long Distance Budget System will limit your calling to that number of minutes.

Just pick up your phone, and call - no need to dial 800 or an access number.

No more surprises on your monthly phone bill!

 

How does it work?

At the start of the monthly toll billing period, (around the 12th of every month) your account will be automatically re-charged with the amount of time you have budgeted. You are only charged for the actual minutes used.

When your remaining time drops to 1.5 minutes, you will hear a warning tone on your phone. When the time is used up a phone call in progress is disconnected.

Further direct dialed long distance calls can be made at the start of the next billing period.

***Certain restrictions apply: You must sign up for both in-state and out-of-state long distance with Terril Telephone Cooperative. Direct dialing to Hawaii, Alaska and international numbers are not permitted with this service. Tax is not included in the per minute rate.
